Lake Wanaka Tourism (LWT) successfully applied for funding for the government’s Sustainable Tourism Project. Sustainable Wanaka Charitable Trust partnered LWT for the duration of the three-year project. These film clips cover some of the results of the project.

Sustainability is important to the future of Wanaka. The funding received enabled the Trust, in conjunction with LWT, to instigate the measures required to ensure Wanaka’s sustainable tourism development. In the long term the partnership hopes to use its knowledge to broaden their activities and assist other regions in attaining effective sustainability.
